City Offices, Services Closed for the Veterans Day Holiday

All City of Santa Fe offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

The city will be hosting its annual Veterans Day event at the Bataan Memorial located at 400 Don Gaspar St. The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11 and will be preceded by 30 minutes of music performed by the Santa Fe concert band and the Zia Singers.

Department of Veteran's Services Cabinet Secretary Brigadier General Jamison Herrera will be the keynote speaker this year. After the ceremony, VFW Post 2951 will provide lunch at their location at 931 Montezuma St. in Santa Fe. All are welcome.

Additional closure information

• Santa Fe Trails and Ride will operate on a holiday schedule Nov. 11. Transit Administration offices will be closed.
• All Santa Fe Public Library locations, Senior Centers, Recreation Centers, and the Municipal Court will be closed on Nov. 11.
• The Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe Golf Course will be open.
• The Parking Division will observe Nov. 11, as a meter holiday. Patrons may park in metered parking spaces at no charge. Surface lots and garages are still subject to fees.
• The Municipal Court will be closed Nov. 11.

Regular hours will resume at all locations on Nov. 11.

Holiday Trash Collection Schedule

There will be no residential trash and recycling collection on Nov. 11. Collection will occur one day later through the end of the week (see graphic). Place carts curbside no later than 7 a.m. for collection.

Commercial collection will not change.
