Rep. Nancy Mace Delivers Statement on Recent Drone Sightings

"Trust in the federal government is already at rock bottom-and just when we thought it couldn't get worse, it has. Dozens of unexplained drone sightings across multiple states, and the White House is lying through their teeth instead of giving the American people clear answers. They think we can't handle the truth.

We've always going to stand up for transparency and accountability because the American people deserve to know what's happening in their skies, especially when it comes to their safety and privacy.

If these sightings are exposing failures in how we handle unauthorized drones or aircraft, Congress needs to act now to close those gaps.

Transparency matters. Keeping Americans in the dark only fuels confusion and concern. Protecting our communities and securing our airspace must be a top priority."
