Route 1030 (Roseytown Road) Safety Improvement Tomorrow in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing rumble strip installation on Route 1030 (Roseytown Road) scheduled tomorrow, Friday, October 25, in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County.

Alternating single-lane restrictions will be rolling between Route 119 (Roosevelt Highway) and Route 1026 (Donohoe Road) and controlled by flaggers. All work depends on weather and operations.

Donegal Construction will perform the work as part of a low-cost safety improvement project (LCSIP) on state roads throughout Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. The overall job includes the installation of delineators on concrete median barriers, guide rail, mountable curbs, and delineation posts - a $612K infrastructure investment.

Exercise caution while approaching the work zone. Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
