Arrington Honors Veterans at Honor Flight Send-Off

Lubbock, TX - Today, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) attended the Texas South Plains Honor Flight Trip Send-Off Luncheon where he met with nearly 100 West Texas veterans and their families before the annual honor fight trip to Washington, D.C.

"TX-19 is the proud home of over 30,000 veterans who selflessly served our great country," said Chairman Arrington. "I was so proud to join nearly 100 of these heroes and their families at today's Texas South Plains Honor Flight Trip Send-Off Luncheon. Our men and women who served are living monuments of sacrifice, courage, valor, and patriotism. This honor flight is a beautiful opportunity for our veterans to visit the monuments and memorials built in their honor in our nation's capital, reflect on their service, and pay their respects to those who didn't return home. I'm excited these WTX veterans will have such a memorable experience and receive the hero's welcome they deserve."
