Wailuku Pool and Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool will be closed temporarily, the County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation announced.

Wailuku Poolwill be closed for repairs and installation of new showers from Thursday, Sept. 26, to Friday, Sept. 27, 2024. The facility is expected to reopen on Saturday, Sept. 28.
Coach Soichi Sakamoto Pool at War Memorial Complex in Wailuku will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Sept. 26, for swim testing for the recruitment of pool guard trainees. The pool is expected to reopen from 1 to 4 p.m. that day for lap and recreational swimming.
