Prime Minister Dr. Golob: 'I believe that Marta Kos will contribute to a larger and stronger European Union through her work and vision.'

Prime Minister Dr. Robert Golob congratulated Marta Kos by phone on her successful hearing and confirmation as the new European Commissioner for Enlargement before the relevant committee of the European Parliament.

"This confirms that her nomination as a member of the European Commission from Slovenia was a good decision. I believe that Marta Kos, with her work and vision, will make a decisive contribution to a larger and stronger European Union," said the Prime Minister. He also wished Marta Kos great success in her important work for the benefit of the European Union.

Prime Minister Dr. Golob was also in contact with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who expressed her genuine enthusiasm for the future commissioner to the Prime Minister following the hearing.
