The City of Deltona would once again like to thank residents for their patience and understanding as the City cleans up after Hurricane Milton. The City's disaster debris hauler now has 15 teams in Deltona, working seven days a week from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. As a reminder, haulers will collect vegetation and construction material (which includes fencing), but they must be in separate piles. Combined materials will not be picked up. Deltona is a large city so clean-up is taking time. If your area has not yet been serviced yet, know that haulers will get to you.
Residents who wish to dispose of their own yard waste can take advantage of the Citizens Drop Off area at the Debris Reduction Site located at 330 State Road 415 North. That location is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Volusia County has a disposal site set-up at 1360 Veterans Memorial Parkway. That location is also open from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., seven days a week.
These sites only take vegetation. Plastic bags will not be accepted. There is no fee at either location.
