2,500 Turkeys, boxes of produce, and beverages to be distributed to community members during the 10th Annual TurkeyGiveaway at Hollywood Park
INGLEWOOD, CALIF. (November 7, 2024) -The City of Inglewood will host its 10th Annual Turkey Giveaway presented by PepsiCo and Don Lee Farms, on Wednesday, November 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT at Hollywood Park. The event will serve approximately 2,000 Inglewood families, providing turkeys donated by Don Lee Farms, and additional items from PepsiCo and Melissa's Produce. The City will work with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the Los AngelesRams and the Los Angeles Chargers for the distribution.
The Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway is a drive-thru event and participants must be registered in advance to receive the items. The event registration has reached capacity in each of the last four years it's been hosted at Hollywood Park. To register, visit this link.
In attendance at the giveaway will be Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts, elected officials, members of the City Council, andHollywood Park executives.

In addition to the turkeys, other donated items include Pepsi, Bubbly, Frito-Lay, boxes of sides and 2,000 boxes of produce containing 5 lbs russet potatoes, 2 lbs carrots, and 3 lbs Granny Smith apples in each box from Melissa's, a specialty produce distributor. In addition, the event day will be supported by over 60 community and corporate volunteers, including members from PepsiCo's Employee Resource Groups and Hollywood Park employees.
