Ernst Names Small Business of the Week, Elliott Art Studio

RED OAK, Iowa - U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Elliott Art Studio of Greene County. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa's 99 counties.

"Chad and Alyssa Elliott have crafted a creative hub that fosters the next generation of Iowa artists," said Ranking Member Ernst. "After painting murals throughout Iowa, now their family-owned and operated Elliott Art Studio is sharing their artistic talents through art, apparel, and home decor."

In 2023, Chad and Alyssa Elliott moved to Jefferson, Iowa and opened Elliott Art Studio. What started as a home studio became a creative hub for aspiring artists to congregate, learn, and practice different forms of art. The studio is sectioned into a gallery in the front that displays finished pieces and a workshop in the back to develop art. From hosting concerts with local artists and open mic nights to selling apparel and home decor featuring Chad's designs, the Elliotts have shaped the art scene in Greene County.
