Fourth humanitarian flight evacuates Mexican nationals from Lebanon
  • Ongoing support and protection measures for the evacuation of Mexican nationals from Lebanon
  • Mexico thanks the Qatari government for including three Mexican nationals who requested to leave Lebanon on humanitarian flights

A group of three Mexican nationals departed today on a flight to Doha, Qatar, with assistance from the Qatari government, as part of ongoing consular assistance and protection efforts for Mexican nationals in Lebanon.

The evacuees were welcomed by Mexico's Ambassador to Qatar, embassy staff, and representatives from Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The voluntary evacuation of these three individuals was made possible with the valuable assistance of the Qatari government, which arranged for them to depart Beirut on a Qatar Emiri Air Force aircraft carrying humanitarian aid for the people affected by the conflict in Lebanon.

The Mexican Foreign Ministry thanks the Qatari government for this generous assistance, including the assistance provided to one Mexican national during their stay in Doha. These humanitarian actions further demonstrate the strength of the bilateral ties and the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Mexico and Qatar.

The Foreign Ministry commends the crucial work of the Mexican Embassies in Lebanon, Qatar, Türkiye and Greece, and the Mexican Consulate in Istanbul in enabling the departure of 15 Mexican nationals and ensuring the wellbeing of the individuals who have chosen to remain in Lebanon.

These efforts reflect the high priority that President Claudia Sheinbaum's government places on protecting Mexican nationals abroad.
