NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

The Franklin Township Sewer Authority recently secured a $1,687,500 loan from the NJ Water Bank to rehabilitate the Commerce Drive Wastewater Pump Station. This project will involve constructing a new electrical building, adding a canopy over the existing wet well, rehabilitating the wet well, and replacing outdated pumps, piping, and valves. Additionally, a bypass connection and a grinder will be installed. These upgrades are necessary to address hazardous conditions limiting staff access for regular maintenance. Furthermore, some equipment within the pump station is nearing the end of its useful life and requires replacement.
