Franklin Road Project Goes Under the Microscope

An ongoing PennDOT widening project along Franklin Road will be completed with a critical eye watching on the Township's behalf.

During the November 7 meeting, the Board of Supervisors approved a contract with Hatch Associates Consultants Inc. for inspection services on the Franklin Road widening project.

The project began in 2023 and provides beneficial safety features to the roadway with additional lanes and improves sight distances. Hatch Associates will observe the water and sewer infrastructure installation on-site to ensure work meets the Township's standards.
