Spring 2025 Community Engaged Student Assistant application now open

Applications for Spring 2025 Community Engaged Student Assistants (CESAs) are now open. Faculty may apply for CESAs to support their community-engaged teaching, research or creative activity. At the end of the semester, CESAs create a poster describing the projects, which are displayed at the Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCEL) Community Engagement Forum, April 18. Anchorage area students are expected to present their projects in person at the forum.

Faculty who have a current CESA may apply for a CESA for the same overarching project in spring 2025. In the application, faculty with a current CESA must justify the need for a CESA for the same project again by explaining the scope of the project and/or this next stage and what is left to be accomplished.

The deadline to apply is Dec. 13 by 11:59 p.m. Questions may be emailed to CCEL at [email protected].
