Oly on Ice Opens Next Friday!
As the crisp air begins to settle in and the vibrant colors of fall give way to the enchanting hues of winter, we welcome the return of Oly on Ice. With stunning views of Capitol Lake and the Capitol building, the rink offers a perfect spot for the community to gather and celebrate the season. Tickets and season passes are now available at olyonice.com, with the season running from November through January 20, thanks to support from Small to Tall Pediatric Dentistry, The Squaxin Island Tribe, and other community partners.

Early weekday hours (2:30 PM) for after-school skating

2025 Arts Walk Cover Artist Application Due November 18. Each year two artists are selected and commissioned by the City to create a new, original work of art to be featured in the Arts Walk poster and other event publications. One artist is highlighted for each the fall and spring events. Artists are selected through a call for art that typically takes place in the fall for the following year. Selected artists receive $750 to create a new work. Just 5 images and two short questions needed to apply! Apply online by November 18 at 11:45 PM.

November 16 - Join Stream Team and Olympia's Habitat Stewardship Program at our upcoming work party on Saturday, 11/16! We'll remove invasive plants like English Ivy, Himalayan blackberry, and western clematis along the Karen Fraser Woodland Trail. Clearing the way for planting Pacific Northwest species later this winter, we will create a healthier native plant community.
