Routes O & J at I-70 in Boone County now open

Project completed ahead of schedule

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - The Interstate 70 bridge at Exit 117 over Boone County Routes O & J are now completely open to traffic. Construction crews were able to reopen the bridge and both routes today, November 22, 2024.

Crews from Hardy Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, closed one lane of I-70 and Routes O and J to repair the bridge after it was struck by a vehicle earlier this year. The crews were able to complete the work three days ahead of the planned schedule.
