On Friday, October 18, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Alexander Perry, age 34, last known address of 10 Montgomery Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Connecticut. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the ACI Investigations Unit and the ACI Records and Identification Unit. Mr. Perry was arraigned in Third District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Perry was ordered held at the ACI pending his return to Connecticut.

On Friday, October 18, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Jason Abdullah, age 39, of 143 Third Street, Newport, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit / Arrest Warrant on the charge of Violation of Community Supervision originating from the State Police ACI Investigations Unit. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Rhode Island Parole Board and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Abdullah was transported to Third District Court for arraignment, where he pled guilty and received one year probation.
