City Items Up for Auction

The auction will be live from September 23 to October 6

Dozens of items-including vehicles, office furniture, and electronics-are open for bid online from September 23 through October 6, 2024. Bidders must be available to pick up items October 7-18. To view current auction items and to place a bid, visit the Public Surplus website.

Why an Auction?

City Ordinance requires that we auction any items with remaining value prior to disposing of them. All money accrued from auction sales is allocated toward supporting City services and projects. The City of League City uses an online auctioneer, Public Surplus, to dispose of property the City no longer uses.

Know Before You Bid

• You will be required to set up an account with a username and password
• League City will not check to see if vehicles turn on at the close of the auction, so viewing auction items in person is highly recommended before the auction closes
• Most items require an appointment for viewing. For appointments only, please email [email protected]
• League City will not assist with the removal of any purchased property
• All items are sold as-is
• Highest bidders win, so keep an eye out for competing bidders. If highest bidder does not fulfill payment obligations within first week, item moves to next highest bidder at their highest bid
• Employees cannot bid.
