Country rockers A Thousand Horses return to Tulsa Oct. 12

TULSA, Okla. - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa is welcoming country rock fusion band A Thousand Horses to the stage at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Track 5.

The show is free to those 21 and older.

The band is playing the show on the heels of the release of their latest studio album, "The Outside," a free-spirited record that embraces the unbridled spirit of new beginnings.

Drawing from influences like the Allman Brothers Band, The Black Crowes and Lynyrd Skynyrd, A Thousand Horses is known for its raw energy and blend of English and American rock, country, soul and blues.

A Thousand Horses formed in 2010 when childhood friends Michael Hobby and Bill Satcher joined forces with Zach Brown and Graham DeLoach. Their chemistry was instant, leading to a sound that seamlessly blends the grit of Southern rock with the storytelling tradition of country music.

The band's debut album, "Southernality," showcases their versatility and songwriting talents and paved the way for their second and third studio albums, "Bridges" and "Broken Heartland," which further cemented the band in its unique blended fusion sound. In 2015, their single "Smoke" rocketed to No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. The band's unique blend of country, rock and soul has earned them critical acclaim and a devoted fanbase nationwide.

While Brown left the band in 2023 to pursue more family time, the Oct. 12 performance will feature the other three band members. The show will include fan favorites like "Smoke" and "(This Ain't No) Drunk Dial," along with tracks from their newest album.
