Public Hearing - Various amendments to the Worth County Zoning Ordinance

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Worth County Board of Supervisors

9:30 A.M.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing beginning at 9:30 A.M. on Monday, December 16, 2024 in the Magistrate Room at 1000 Central Avenue, Northwood, IA. At that time, the Board will hear arguments for and against various amendments to the Worth County Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of regulating and restricting the use of land in the County for the transport of hazardous liquid through a hazardous liquid pipeline.

The Worth County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended this to the supervisors for their approval, change or disapproval on November 12, 2024. Both the recommendation and the draft Pipeline ordinance can be viewed at the auditor's office or online at the following link: https://worthcountyiowa.gov/zoning/forms_and_resources/
