Happy Thanksgiving from WCF

From the President's Desk...

Time continues to fly by and believe it or not, winter and the holiday season are upon us. First up is Thanksgiving, one of my favorite holidays on the calendar.

For most of us, this day centers around loved ones and traditions. Families travel from near and far to spend time in the kitchen preparing a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Everyone enjoys the huge meal while sharing memories about days gone by, perhaps later relaxing to watch football together. Afterwards there are those great Thanksgiving meal leftovers to enjoy. However, before you know it, Thanksgiving has come and gone, family members have returned to their homes, and the focus shifts to the hustle and bustle of the Christmas shopping season.

While the Christmas season is also a wonderful time of the year, don't blink and miss Thanksgiving. Take some time on that special day to slow down a bit and be thankful for all that you have, especially the people in your life. Savor quality time with your family and give thanks for the blessings that we all receive and too often take for granted.
