The Ohio State University at Marion welcomed new staff member Lauren Pullins to campus Monday, November 4, 2024. Pullins will serve as the campus's disability services coordinator in the Office for Disability Services.

The Office for Disability Services provides confidential support services, auxiliary aids, and accommodations for students with disabilities that allow them to gain equal access to education. This office is a part of the Ohio State Columbus campus Office of Disability Services.

Pullins most recently served as service and support administrator for Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities. In that role she coordinated services for individuals with disabilities from across Perry County. Prior to this position she was a learning consultant for Muskingum University in Zanesville for 2 years. Pullins also was history teacher for 2 years.

She earned her Bachelor of Integrated Social Studies from Ohio Dominican University and her Masters of American History and Government from Ashland University.

"I am thankful to be in a position to help students become successful in their academic careers at Ohio State Marion and beyond," said Pullins.

In her spare time, Pullins enjoys camping and spending time with her 2 golden doodles Brooks and Jamison. She was born and raised in West Jefferson, Ohio and is happy to now call Marion, Ohio home.
