City of Syracuse to Close Offices in Observance of Thanksgiving

City of Syracuse administrative offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day on Thursday and Friday. Crews will collect Thursday's trash and recycling on Friday, and Friday's trash and recycling on Saturday.
The yard waste drop-off site at the Department of Public Works, located at 1200 Canal St. Ext., will be closed to the public on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29. Emergency public works services can be reported to 315-448-8360. Cityline offices will be closed to calls, but residents can still submit service requests to Cityline via the SYRCityline app or online at syr.gov/cityline.
Metered parking in the city will be free on Thursday and Friday.
