One of the big topics on everyone's mind at Dayforce Discover this year is how we can make work life better when we're faced with a complexity crisis in the world of work. We're seeing an explosion of different types of work and workers, a mismatch between skills and evolving roles, and an ever-changing compliance landscape. These factors are all converging and making it more challenging than ever to do the work we're meant to do.
Joe Korngiebel, our Chief Strategy, Product, and Technology Officer, led our Innovation Keynote at Dayforce Discover with his team, who were excited to walk the audience through our latest product innovations designed to help organizations truly make work life better.
These enhancements deliver simplicity at scale across three important areas:
Last year at this time, we announced the launch of Dayforce Co-Pilot. This year, we're proud to say that this product is now available to all Dayforce customers globally. Dayforce Co-Pilot helps transform work by enabling automation of certain repetitive tasks and serving as a hyper-personalized guide for employees. It's an intelligent assistant that can provide answers and summarize information from your company's knowledge base, just like many generative AI tools can now do with publicly available information.
But we haven't stopped with the introduction of AI assistants like Co-Pilot. We're pushing even further - into the realm of AI Agents.
Today's organizations need to do more with less. That's why we're announcing Dayforce AI Agents, the next evolution of AI innovation designed to unlock creativity, productivity, and efficiency by helping automate tedious and time-consuming tasks. Dayforce AI Agents will help simplify workflows across the Dayforce platform - HR, Pay, Time, Talent, and Analytics - to improve employees' efficiency.
Dayforce AI Agents will be designed to be able to perform complex data analysis and monitoring tasks autonomously, like assessing the impact that new policies may have on your pay or benefits. Through Dayforce AI Agents, we'll introduce new levels of personalization and automation at scale across the Dayforce platform, helping free up more time to focus on the work that matters most.
Planning for the future is critical for any business. Yet Gartner reports that only 15% of surveyed organizations currently practice true strategic workforce planning. A big reason for the low number is that companies often lack an all-in-one solution to help analyze data from both internal and external sources and get accurate insight into future needs.
That's why we're creating Dayforce Strategic Workforce Planning, a new AI-enhanced solution built to help organizations tackle complex workforce planning. Dayforce Strategic Workforce Planning empowers leaders to analyze their internal and external workforce data at scale and in real time. When planning a regional expansion, for example, a user might need to better understand the skills of the workforce in the new region and how many people they'll need to recruit for specific roles. They'll need a way to map a budget to their plan and create the positions they're looking to fill. Strategic Workforce Planning will be a one-stop solution providing insights needed for this process, and when the time for execution comes, it will help the user manage their plan's rollout at a detailed level.
According to Dayforce research, nearly four in 10 surveyed frontline workers can't communicate with their team through a dedicated work app, and 23% don't have a central place to get information about what's happening in the company. Reaching employees where they are is vital for driving engagement, retention, and productivity. That's why we're introducing Dayforce Communications, a new way to help streamline, automate, and unify communications efforts across the employee lifecycle, from candidates to current employees to alumni, using omnichannel communications (i.e., email, SMS, Dayforce Hub, etc.).
Dayforce Communications will empower users to create internal company audiences that matter to them. It will even provide insights into which channels will achieve the best engagement for specific communications. Users will be able to design, draft, and deliver content across any channel quickly, and easily create communities and engage in peer-to-peer chats. The solution will benefit companies across all sectors and sizes, especially frontline industries, as they often face more challenges communicating in deskless workplaces where mobile devices outnumber computers.
We designed the Dayforce platform as a single end-to-end solution to help organizations make work life better. Part of delivering simplicity at scale in a complex world of work means making it easier for companies to extend the platform to suit their own unique needs. That's why we've created our Dayforce Studio tools to empower customers to make the Dayforce experience their own through custom-built integrations, automations, and applications. These tools offer unparalleled ability to inject your company's unique workflows and capabilities into the Dayforce platform, all within a unified user experience. That's customization without compromise.
With our new talent-driven scheduling experience, we're helping leaders align work and growth. When managers finalize schedules for an upcoming period, the Dayforce platform will help them recognize if they or their teams are tracking behind on learning and development, then automatically add training sessions to employee's schedules and pair mentors with mentees at times that fit your business needs. That way, you maintain coverage while fostering team development. This is no longer just scheduling - it's scheduling for growth, helping you develop the workforce of tomorrow.
Feedback from the frontline workforce has been clear - they need flexibility to balance work with the demands of life. Dayforce research shows that nine out of 10 surveyed frontline workers would leave their current job for a better schedule, and if workers don't find the desired flexibility with their current employer, they'll move on. We help enable that flexibility through Shift Marketplace, a new solution on the Dayforce platform that empowers workers to pick up additional shifts whenever they want.
Through this solution, employees can browse available shifts and access relevant information to feel confident about their role, schedule, and pay before taking on the work. And now, they're not limited to their primary location - they can explore availability at their employer's nearby locations and seek out the shifts that work best for them. This approach offers workers more flexibility over where and when they work, and it helps employers find the coverage they need to meet demand, even during their busiest times.
Having a modern, convenient user experience is critical for today's companies. The new Dayforce experience is modern and adaptive, anticipating your needs and creating more personalized interactions that enhance accessibility and inclusivity.
The new Dayforce UI will allow us to better:
The new Dayforce experience will also support inclusivity through enhanced accessibility, with features that allow farsighted users to zoom in, while those who are visually impaired can leverage a narrator to read the text aloud. We've also made it easier for users to adapt to the new UI by allowing them to toggle between old and new while they get used to the change.
With these innovative new capabilities, we're delivering simplicity at scale to organizations and their people in exciting new ways. The consistent and intentional use of intelligent, agile technologies like AI, and studio tools will help provide users the flexibility they need, combined with the confidence of having an HCM solution that acts more like a knowledgeable colleague than a tool. In the end, these enhancements are further separating Dayforce - and its customers - from competitors and making work life better around the globe.
