CBK launches the new official website: Increasing transparency and advancing communication with citizens

The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK) in order to fulfil its vision of improving transparency, advancing communication with the public, raising awareness and promoting financial education and financial inclusion for all citizens has already re-designed and launched its website.

The new CBK website marks a step forward in fulfilling the objectives defined in its Strategic Plan 2024-2028, which is related to the digitization and modernization of processes to advance consumer protection.

The CBK website will also be used as a means of communication and cooperation between stakeholders for the exchange of experiences with the CBK, knowledge and resources to strengthen trust and inform all citizens as quickly as possible.

Newly developed functions such as dynamic calendar of activities, general and specific search, filtering and categorization of information depending on the reader's requirements, video gallery and chat-bot for frequent questions and answers ensure a simpler experience for all audiences, from users of financial services, academic level and up to local and international institutions.

This website has been developed in accordance with security standards to protect users from cyber risks, providing a safe platform for all citizens. Also, through the new platform that is expected to be added soon, CBK significantly improves the user experience on the Financial Education and Financial Products and Services Comparison portals, which will help the consumer make well-informed decisions. Facilitated access is also foreseen in the existing Complaints and Creditor Register portals.

Therefore, the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to being synonymous with professionalism, technological innovation, promotion of communication, especially in opening information to all interested parties.
