The Administrative Office of the Courts has notified the Court that mail delivery to Canada has been suspended due to an ongoing national strike by the Canadian Union of Post Workers. Bankruptcy notice delivery also has been impacted. Since November 15, 2024, notices that the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) has attempted to deliver to Canada are being held at the Canadian/United States border, stored in secured containers, and will not be delivered to intended recipients until after the postal strike has concluded.
Currently, electronic bankruptcy noticing through the BNC is not an option for international recipients.
