The security cooperation of the Nordic TSO's is getting stronger

On October 9th, 2024, the director general of Svenska kraftnät and the CEOs of Statnett, Energinet and FinGrid decided to formalize the cooperation in the security and preparedness areas by creating a working group within the Nordic cooperation Nordic CEO.

The working group, Nordic Security Group (NordSec) aims to strengthen the cooperation and information exchange between the TSOs, as well as facilitate cooperation before and during crisis situations where more than one Nordic TSO is affected. Cooperation between the TSOs' security organizations intensified in the spring of 2022 and is now formalized as the Nordic Security Group (NordSec) under the Nordic CEO.
