Watermelon Carving Demonstration at the Library

July 5, 2024 - All are welcome to come and watch Patrick Harrison's watermelon carving demonstration at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library on Wednesday, July 17.

Patrick is known as the "Lord of the Gourd" and will carve unique creations in the Library's Orchard Room from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. He will allow the audience to approach his table to ask questions and see his creations up close. Slices of watermelon will be available to eat, while supplies last.

Attendees can also enter a drawing to win one of Patrick's unique pieces to take home. The drawing will be held at 7 p.m. and winners do not need to be present to win.
