NEW ORLEANS - The City of New Orleans is excited to announce the launch of City News, a dynamic news magazine dedicated to telling the stories of New Orleans and its people.
The news magazine will air regularly on the City's YouTube channel and across multiple social media platforms. City News is designed to meet the community where they are-bringing news, in-depth features, and inspiring stories directly to the people of New Orleans.
The ongoing mission is to connect with the people of New Orleans, and showcase the city's rich culture, diverse communities, and untold stories.
City News magazine features a talented and diverse team of New Orleanians
Anchoring City News will be well known New Orleans Journalist Kourtney Williams. City of New Orleans Communications Digital Director and social media influencer Raven Frederick will serve as Co-Host.
The photographic vision for City News will be led by City of New Orleans Multimedia Manager Steven Martinez, in collaboration with talented producer-photographers Jovan Hernandez and Crystal Roa. The show will also feature producer Yasmeèn Singleton. Together, they will bring an artistic perspective to the show that highlights the best of New Orleans
City News will launch Bayou Classic Week, highlighting community events and the HBCU experience of the 51st Annual Bayou Classic: Southern vs. Grambling.
