LACERS Retired Members Update for September

2025 LACERS OPEN ENROLLMENT COMING SOON: OCTOBER 15 THROUGH NOVEMBER 18, 2024

LACERS Health Benefits Open Enrollment will be held from October 15 through November 18, 2024. This is your opportunity to enroll, make changes, or add eligible dependents to your LACERS medical or dental plan, with changes becoming effective January 1, 2025. Open Enrollment packets will be mailed in early October.

If you do not wish to make changes, no action is required.

APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR MEMBERS WHO WISH TO REVIEW HEALTH AND/OR DENTAL ENROLLMENT FORMS

LACERS is here to assist you during Open Enrollment and beyond. Any Member who wants to review their health and/or dental enrollment forms before submitting them must schedule an appointment. LACERS offers both in-person and virtual assistance to our Members. Click here to make an appointment online or call (800) 779-8328.

OPEN ENROLLMENT PACKETS

For Members under age 65 and non-Medicare, your packet will include a Health Plan Statement, Open Enrollment Overview, and instructions to access the 2025 Health Benefits Guide online. For Members aged 65 and older with Medicare, your packet will include a Health Plan Statement, Open Enrollment Overview, and the 2025 Health Benefits Guide. The Open Enrollment Overview, Health Benefits Guide, and select enrollment forms will be available online.

If you do not receive your Open Enrollment packet by October 16, please email [email protected] or call (800) 779-8328. Please allow seven business days for the packet to arrive via U.S. mail.

If you are considering changing your health or dental plan, LACERS encourages you to attend an Open Enrollment meeting to learn more about your benefit plan options. Register through your MyLACERS account or call (800) 779-8328. Space is limited, so register now!
