Microsurfacing Project Continues in Tioga County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a microsurfacing project continues in Tioga County.

Starting on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, the contractor, Suit-Kote, will begin work on a microsurfacing project on Route 6 between Route 287 and Charleston Street (Route 4002) in Wellsboro Borough. Work includes milling of the roadway, base repairs, microsurfacing, and line painting. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours.

Suit-Kote is the prime contractor for this $4.5 million microsurfacing project on Route 15 in Richmond, Tioga, and Lawrence townships and Route 6 in Wellsboro borough. Work includes milling of the existing road, base repairs, microsurfacing, line painting, bridge preservation work, and miscellaneous construction activity.
