The Fargo Sanitary Landfill will be open to private haulers beginning at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, but will close early at 10 a.m. due to high wind speeds in the forecast.

The Landfill's Residential Transfer Station will remain open to City of Fargo residents, with normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 5.

The Residential Transfer Station accepts household garbage, including furniture and other large items. Commercial waste and building materials are not accepted. For more information on what items can be brought to the transfer station, visit FargoND.gov/SolidWaste.
