Join BU Alumna Juli Herring Miller '92 in Celebrating the Legacy of Claudia J. Thrush. The Claudia J. Thrush Memorial Scholarship Fund ensures her legacy of dedication and service to the University will continue to inspire future generations.
Claudia, a beloved member of our community, served Bloomsburg University for over 23 years in various roles, most recently as Vice President of Finance and Administration. Her passing in 2021 has deeply affected those who knew her, but through this scholarship, her impact will endure.
Juli Herring Miller '92 a classmate, sorority sister, and friend of Claudia's, shared her reasons for supporting this scholarship: "Claudia was an incredible representative of what Bloomsburg stands for. She was always willing to help and support others, whether it was a friend in need or a student looking for guidance. She was not just a leader at the University, but also a mentor and friend to many. By supporting this scholarship, we can honor her memory and continue her spirit of giving back."
The Claudia J. Thrush Memorial Scholarship Fund supports a permanent memorial on campus and provides an annual scholarship to a graduating senior from Bloomsburg High School who plans to major in Business Administration. This scholarship is a reflection of Claudia's educational journey and her deep commitment to Bloomsburg.
Miller invites all members of the Bloomsburg community to join her in supporting the Claudia J. Thrush Memorial Scholarship Fund. Your contributions will help ensure that Claudia's legacy lives on and that her spirit of kindness and generosity continues to make a difference in the lives of students for years to come.
