Blood Donation Campaign 2023

Agencies Invited : Blood Bank, Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM)

Purpose :

• Increase public awareness and concern about the importance of donating blood.
• Helping to overcome the shortage of blood supply in the hospitals.
• Encourage employee to practice a healthy and positive work culture and attitude.

A total of 26 Blood bag were collected. There are about 10 donors who are unable to donate due to factors such as insufficient sleep, taking antibiotics or medication the day before donating blood and also insufficient blood. Overall, this campaign has been able to be implemented smoothly and effectively. The objectives to be achieved in the organization of this blood donation campaign can also be achieved with the cooperation provided by PPUM and blood donors. We would like to express our gratitude to Hospital staff and those who helped directly and indirectly throughout the course of this campaign.
