CTC and Articul8 Collaborate to Deliver an Autonomous Generative AI Platform

ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Tatsushi Shingu, President and CEO; hereinafter "CTC") and Articul8 AI, Inc.^※1 (headquartered in California, USA; Arun Subramaniyan, Founder & CEO:), are collaborating to introduce the Articul8 GenAI Platform to Japanese enterprise customers. The companies will provide Articul8's products, designed to enable enterprises to unlock value from their proprietary data and expertise seamlessly and securely within their own IT environments.

While there has been strong overall interest in GenAI technologies, enterprises are still facing several challenges going from proof-of-concept (PoC) GenAI projects to production-scale deployments. Key concerns include the complexity of data management, shortage of specialized talent, unpredictable long-term costs, ethics and governance, performance and reliability at scale, and complexity of deployment across multiple tools and technology stacks. Articul8's full-stack GenAI Platform provides an out-of-the-box offering that is integrated and optimized across the various components and layers of the GenAI stack. By providing ready-to-consume application programming interfaces (APIs) and abstracting the complexity of building GenAI applications, Articul8 and CTC help customers accelerate their development cycles and time-to-outcomes. In addition, Articul8's GenAI Platform has no external dependencies and is deployed and managed in the customer's chosen environment: their own virtual private cloud (VPC) or on-prem, including in "air-gapped" environments. This gives customers full control over their data, access policies, and other information security rules and regulations.

The collaboration begins with CTC using Articul8's products to advance operations and improve productivity. Specifically, CTC-exclusive documents, video data, image data, and equipment failure data will be input into Articul8's GenAI Platform. Numerous use cases are supported including document search by page, creation of proposal materials tailored to individual clients, automated identification of failure causes, and report generation.

CTC will leverage its technical expertise and experience in IT infrastructure development and the use of Articul8's products to roll out high-security GenAI solutions for enterprises and offer its consulting services for deployment, utilization and support of further generative AI adoption in Japan.
