24 participating faculty receive professional development funding from the Office of the Provost

Twenty four participating faculty received funding from the Office of the Provost for professional development activities during the 2024-25 academic year, with $10,500 allocated for this purpose.

These funds are the result of the work of the Participating Faculty Task Force to provide non-tenure-track faculty access to funds for professional development opportunities. An application process took place earlier this fall. The professional development awards will help pay participating faculty for expenses to attend courses, workshops, trainings and conferences primarily designed to improve teaching and/or advance research and scholarship.
