Vilde Henriksen, Morgan Hicks, Laura Nicholson and Margrett Watt of the Toledo women's cross country and track and field teams were recognized as CSC Academic All-District, College Sports Communicators announced.

The quartet was recognized for their top regional and national ranks in competition while maintaining at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA in the classroom. Each student-athlete earned their first CSC Academic All-District honor.

In addition to having at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, qualifying student-athletes must have at least a sophomore or higher academic standing, and a top-50 regional ranking or a top-50 finish in a regional meet.

Henriksen and Nicholson each qualified with outdoor times, as Henriksen ranks 13th in the 3000m steeple (10:03.43) while Nicholson ranks 14th in the 1500m (4:11.65). Hicks and Watt qualified through indoor times, with Hicks ranking 23rd in the Great Lakes region in the 5000m (16:38.48) and Watt ranking 37th in the 800m (2:11.70).

Nicholson also advanced to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, which will be announced on Tuesday, July 9, with honorees split into first-, second- and third teams.
