Lowenstein Represents Catalyst Investors and RepTrak Holdings, Inc. in the Majority Recapitalization by Periscope Equity

Lowenstein Sandler represented Catalyst Investors and its portfolio company, RepTrak Holdings, Inc., the global leader in reputation intelligence, in the majority recapitalization by Periscope Equity, a Chicago-based private equity firm specializing in founder-led, technology-enabled services firms.

Periscope's acquisition of RepTrak will strengthen RepTrak's competitive market position and promote future growth.

In the past two years, Lowenstein has represented Catalyst Investors in the following transactions:

  • As the lead investor in a $20 million Series B financing round in Tava Health, Inc., a provider of virtual mental health and telehealth services to therapists and employee assistance programs
  • In its acquisition by CIVC Partners, L.P., a Chicago-based middle market private equity firm focused on investments in the business services sector (with its portfolio company Datavail Corp.)
  • As co-lead investor with Translink Capital in a $24 million Series B funding round for Burro, a Philadelphia-based autonomous mobility company.
  • As lead investor in a $15 million Series B fund raise in Breezeway, the leading property care and guest experience platform for the vacation rental and hospitality industries. The funding includes additional contributions from previous investor Schooner Capital LLC.
  • In the sale of its portfolio company Clinicient to WebPT, the leading outpatient physical rehabilitation SaaS platform for patient and practice management services.

Catalyst Investors is a growth equity venture capital firm investing in technology-enabled businesses.
