HACU visits Houston to host HACU on the Road

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities visited Houston, Texas, on September 24, 2024, as part of its HACU on the Road tour. The event brought together members of the higher education community and leaders from the surrounding area for a presentation from HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores.

The event hosted by Lone Star College - North Harris included welcome remarks from President Bennie Lambert. The HACU presentation included a discussion on the state of Hispanic higher education and HACU programs and international initiatives. Other topics discussed included supporting Hispanic student success, advocacy, and other initiatives.

HACU on the Road is an initiative designed to promote national and international dialogue about the state of Hispanic higher education among chancellors, presidents of colleges and universities, superintendents of Hispanic-Serving School Districts, corporate leaders, and other supporters of Hispanic higher education.
