Traffic Alert: Paving to Occur Wednesday on Route 268 in West Kittanning, Armstrong County

​Indiana, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that paving operations will be on Route 268 in West Kittanning, Armstrong County on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Route 268 will be paved between Hilltop Plaza and Franklin Village. Traffic will be one lane controlled by flaggers between 7 AM and 5 PM.

Contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker, State College, PA will be completing this $15.6 million resurfacing project that will conclude at the end of November 2024. The project includes the Route 268-West Kittanning interchange in Armstrong County, between Worthington Borough in Armstrong County and the intersection of Graham/Burke Road in Butler County and at a bridge spanning Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park in Butler County.
