Lincoln Woods Barracks

On October 15, at 9:23 AM, Troopers arrested Bryan Sornoza, age 26, of 305 Hunt Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island for 1.) Violation of a Domestic No Contact Order - 1st Offense and 2.) Obstruction to the Duty of an Officer. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in the City of Providence. Sornoza was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

On October 15, at 10:35 AM, Troopers arrested Alexander Guzman, age 30, of 108 Fillmore Street, Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Domestic Violence Prevention - Violation of a No Contact Order Third Offense and 2.) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant for Simple Assault out of the State Police ACI Detective Unit. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Charles Street in the City of Providence. Guzman was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.

On October 16, at 1:05 AM, Troopers arrested Ramon Baez Diaz, age 36, of 406 Adelaide Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Sexual Assault - Second Degree and 2.) Simple Assault out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and the Providence Police Department subsequently taking Baez Diaz into custody. Baez Diaz was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.

On October 16, at 2:40 AM, Troopers arrested Shalimar Carpenter, age 41, of 868 Lonsdale Avenue, Central Falls, Rhode Island on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses, 2.) Giving False Documents to Public Official, and 3.) Fraudulently Obtaining Assistance Over $500 out of the State Police Financial Crimes Detective Unit. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Harvard Avenue in the City of Providence. Carpenter was processed at State Police Headquarters and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
