New Fire Chief Appointed
With more than 19 years of experience in public safety, and seven with the City of League City, Jeffrey Allen has been appointed as League City's new Fire Chief. Chief Allen-who most recently served as Assistant Fire Chief-has built a comprehensive resume of expertise in emergency management, fire prevention, and public safety, previously serving the City of Pasadena, the City of Friendswood, and Harris County.
During his tenure with the City of League City, Chief Allen has demonstrated exceptional leadership and constant readiness to support the community and his team in any way possible. During the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl and Winter Storm Uri, he and his staff actively assisted with storm relief efforts, managed the distribution of meals to Public Works staff, and even helped unload storm debris at the City's designated drop-off site.
His leadership, commitment to fire services, and dedication to League City will ensure the continued growth and strength of our fire department.
