Louisiana State Police Troop A Welcomes New Commander

Baton Rouge - Louisiana State Police Superintendent Colonel Robert P. Hodges has appointed Captain Bryan Lee as the new Troop Commander of Louisiana State Police Troop A in Baton Rouge. Effective today, Captain Lee succeeds retiring Captain Lanny Bergeron. Captain Bergeron, who served as Troop A Commander since March of this year, leaves the agency after 31 years of distinguished service.

Captain Lee began his Louisiana State Police career in 2007, originally assigned to Troop A Patrol for eight years before becoming the Troop A Public Information Officer. Captain Lee most recently served as the Commander of the Louisiana State Police Professional Standards & Compliance Unit. With this appointment, Captain Lee becomes the 27th Troop Commander in the history of Troop A.
