Utility work to close Route 5 overnight in Glasgow next week

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - Utility work will close Route 5 (Union Street) in Glasgow one night next week. On Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., contractors working under a Missouri Department of Transportation permit will close Union Street between Kuemmel Park Drive and Lafayette Street in order to relocate a water line. The roadway is expected to reopen by 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30. During the closure motorist need to use an alternate route.
