As the weather cools down, We are just heating up with some exciting fall events! From high-octane monster truck shows to scenic walks by the river, there's something for everyone. Check out the details below and mark your calendars!

Monster Trucks & MotoCross Rally
September 27 | 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Rev your engines for the West Jordan Monster Truck Rally at the West Jordan Arena! Gates open at 5:30 PM, and the Pit Party kicks off as soon as you enter-at no extra cost. The show starts at 7 PM, so get ready for some adrenaline-pumping action!

Monster Truck Rides?
Yes! For just $15 (cash only), you can ride in a monster truck during the Pit Party or after the show. Tickets are available at the Monster Truck Merchandise tent inside the arena.

Other Event Details:

• Box Office Hours: 4:00 - 8:00 PM
• Food Trucks: Umani Pizza, La Catrina Tacos, Corn Dog Company, Abiyaki Grill, Haute Burger, Udder Rivals, SugarBear Corn/Nuts, Kona Ice
• Beer: Available for sale inside the arena (card only)
• Stadium Seating: No rentals available, but feel free to bring a small blanket or cushion
• Tickets for Young Kids: Children 3 and under are free if sitting on a lap
• Weather: Rain or shine! But remember, no umbrellas are allowed-bring a poncho or raincoat instead.

Get to the River - One-Mile Fun Walk
September 28 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Join us for a refreshing morning walk along the Jordan River Trail! The fun starts at 9 AM, and if you're one of the first 100 walkers to finish, you'll score a cool prize. There will also be games, booths, and lots of family fun! Parking is available at the Jordan River Trail lot just off of 7000 S.

This event is part of the ongoing Get to the River Festival, so don't miss out on the chance to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate our beautiful river.

Get to the River Scavenger Hunt
September 1 - September 30
Explore the Jordan River Trail with our month-long, FREE photo scavenger hunt! Snap pics of scavenger hunt signs along the trail, scan them, and upload your photos to be entered to win prizes. This is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and have some fun throughout September. Winners will be contacted in mid-October. For more info, contact [email protected] or check out the details here.

First Friday Concerts
October 4 | 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
In partnership with the Salt Lake County Library and Excellence in the Community, we're hosting First Friday Concerts! Start the evening with some pumpkin painting at 6:30 PM (while supplies last), and stick around for the Saltair Choral Group's big barbershop performance at 7:30 PM. It's a perfect way to kick off the weekend with music, art, and community.

Wheels Park Grand Opening
October 12 | 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Join us for the grand opening of West Jordan's Wheels Park (Phase 1)! Celebrate with cocoa, coffee, competitions, prizes, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The park is located at 8600 S and Ron Wood Park Road, just east of the pickleball courts at Ron Wood Park (5900 W New Bingham Hwy). For more information about the Wheels Park, visit here.

Painting Pumpkins with Police
October 19 | 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Come down to the West Jordan Police Department for a free, fun-filled day with your local officers. Paint pumpkins, decorate cookies, watch a K-9 demonstration, and enter the costume contest for a chance to win prizes. This is a great family-friendly event at the Police Department's Community Room (8040 S Redwood Rd).
