BPD in the Community: District B-2 Celebrates Local Residents 100th Birthday

A VERY Happy 100th Birthday shoutout from all of us at the Boston Police Department to one of Roxbury's finest, Ms. Sylvia Bowden!

Our officers from District B-2 had the pleasure of surprising this inspiring woman with cake, a fabulous tiara, a sash fit for a queen, and balloons galore!

But the festivities didn't stop there… Ms. Bowden is now a proud member of Boston's Centenarian Society, and she received a special citation of achievement from Senator Liz Miranda!

It's not every day we get to celebrate a century of life, love, service and laughter! Here's to our incredible neighbor, a living testament to resilience and joy in our community!
