State Police request the public’s assistance in Lake George armed...

On November 15, 2024, State Police of Queensbury responded to the reports of an armed robbery in the area of State Route 9A in Lake George, NY.

On November 15, 2024, at about 9:07 p.m., Troopers responded to the reports of a Robbery at the Extra Mart Mobil Gas Station located at 2389 State Route 9N (just off exit 21 of I-87 Northway) in Lake George, NY. The investigation determined at about 9:00 p.m. while pumping gas, two victims were approached by a man wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with white writing on it, black pants, white shoes, a hat, and a ski mask. During the interaction, the man demanded both victim's purses after revealing what appeared to be a handgun in the waistband of their pants. After stealing the items, the suspect walked eastbound on State Route 9N.

A search of the area was unable to locate the suspect. Anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the incident or has any information related to the crime is asked to contact State Police SP Queensbury at 518-457-6811 or email [email protected].
