Jake's Hilltop Park Playground Upgrade Complete

The playground at Jake's Hilltop Park has a new look! The new play equipment includes a shaded, three-bay swing set with belt swings, tot swings, and inclusive bucket seats; stand-alone features, including a climbing structure and "Comet" spinner; equipment for 2- to 5-year-olds that includes integrated shade, multiple climbers, slides, and musical play equipment; and equipment for 5- to 12-year-olds that includes three slides, monkey bars, climbing walls, and musical play equipment.

This playground also has a new piece of electronic play equipment called MOVMNT Xtreme. This equipment is powered by a wind-up dial and helps to develop eye-hand coordination, agility, and creative thinking. The color scheme of the new play equipment was picked to match the colors of Lamar Middle School.

We know it's hot out there, but make sure to get some play time in on this new equipment this summer!
