PSE&G to Begin Milling and Paving Work on Stuyvesant Avenue

Trenton, N.J. - On November 6, 2024, through November 8, 2024, PSE&G will begin milling and paving work on Stuyvesant Avenue between Maple Avenue and Carolyn Street.

Project Overview:

  • Location: Stuyvesant Ave, between Maple Ave and the Ewing Township border (near Carolyn Ave)
  • Dates: November 6, 7, and 8, 2024 (Rain Date: November 9)
  • Work Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Traffic Management:

During this time, southbound traffic will remain on Stuyvesant Ave, while the northbound lane will be closed with a detour. Access will be maintained for local streets: Preston, Margaretta, Lincoln, Esther, and Palmer.

Notifications about the upcoming paving work have been sent to local businesses and schools. No Parking signs will be posted 24 hours in advance, and Variable Message Signs (VMS) boards have been placed along Stuyvesant Avenue. Residents are advised to abide by detour signage.

Police will be directing traffic, and residents will be able to drive on the roads during non-paving hours.
