No: 201, 1 October 2024, Regarding Our Citizens in Lebanon

The security situation in Lebanon is likely to deteriorate.

In coordination with relevant institutions, alternative plans have been prepared for the evacuation of our citizens by sea or air from Lebanon.

"Coordination and Support Center" of the Foreign Ministry is now operational to oversee the process. A delegation involving officials from our Ministry, the Directorate General of Security, and the Presidency of Migration Management is currently on the ground.

Turkish citizens who wish to register for possible evacuation can submit their applications via our Consulate Call Center (+90 312 292 29 29), which operates 24 hours a day.

Our citizens in Lebanon are recommended to follow the updates by the Ministry and the Turkish Embassy in Beirut for possible evacuation.

Guidelines for the evacuation of citizens of third countries via Türkiye have also been identified, and necessary preparations are underway in cooperation with nearly 20 countries that have requested support.
