FALL BACK November 3rd!

Turn your clocks back one hour as Daylight Savings Time ends. These tips can help:

Move more. Practice healthy sleep habits and eat smart.

World Pneumonia Day is Nov. 12th
& flu season is in full swing

But that's not the only vaccine important for heart health. The American Heart Association says it's important for adults to get regular immunizations to stay heart-healthy.

November is American Diabetes Month, National Diabetes Education Week (3-9th), National Diabetes Heart Connection Day (9th) and World Diabetes Day (14th)

Do you have risk factors for diabetes? Prediabetes? Lifestyle changes such as losing weight, eating healthy and engaging in regular, moderate physical activity may reduce the progression of Type 2 diabetes and control Type 1 diabetes. They can also minimize other risk factors such as high blood pressure, blood cholesterol and even heart attacks and strokes.

#EatSmartMonth

Eating Smart is just one of Life's Essential 8™

It's the American Heart Association's checklist to measure cardiovascular health, which adds healthy sleep as essential for optimal cardiovascular health along with other health and lifestyle factors like nicotine exposure, physical activity, diet, weight, blood glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure.
